Science Talk

Rarely do we have the opportunity to talk to top managers in industry and top scientists about the key innovation issues. What can we learn from companies like Asahi Kasei? How do we store electrical energy for a variety of tomorrow's applications? How do we manage to provide CO2-free electrical energy in sufficient quantities to make the future of mobility sustainable and electric?

Unfortunately, the current corona development has led to the cancellation of the live event in Duisburg planned for September 21.

Alternatively, we present here the "digital" Science Talk with Chemistry - Nobel Prize winner 2019 Dr. Akira Yoshino and Daimler CEO Ola Källenius, moderated by Professor Dudenhöffer.

Event Announcement: Car Symposium 2021

6 May 2021
RuhrCongress Bochum

One of the leading industry congresses in Europe for over 20 years

Due to the Corona Pandemic, the Car Symposium will not take place as usual as the annual kick-off congress of the automotive industry in February, but for the first time in May. The main speakers include Dr. Herbert Diess, CEO Volkswagen and Wolf-Henning Scheider, CEO of ZF Friedrichshafen AG.

Even if Corona will then still be part of our coexistence, innovation and networking (according to the regulations) must not be lost sight of.

“The crisis is a productive state. You just have to take away the smack of catastrophe (Max Frisch)”. With this in mind, we would be delighted to be able to attract your company and your innovations to the event.

What technologies, strategies and solutions do you offer in the following topics?

  • E-mobility & battery technologies
  • Electronics and software innovations
  • Digitalisation of the supply chain
  • Innovations along the drive
  • Novel materials and manufacturing processes
  • Future distribution channels
